Bell Tower presents Ebony Duke to HSI Class One Status
March 24th found Tony and Sarah at Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell with Roger Lightfoot's purebred irish draught stallion, Ebony Duke (click here for pedigree).
We had been working with the young stallion since the beginning of January. He is a lovely gentleman and true pleasure to handle. He definitely enjoyed his loose jumping schooling at the farm! During the inspection he demonstrated balance and suspension in his movement, scope and talent over fences and an outstanding disposition. All of this was especially appreciated as the weekend was diabolically cold. The snow and the wind never let up, not even in the stall.
Unfortunately, Roger was not able to attend the inspection as he was kept on his farm coping with the snow. Happily, his daughter in law, Linda, was able to come root for "Murphy" and get roped in to helping at the last minute.
Ebony Duke was a pleasure to work with and present. We are honoured Roger allowed us to represent him and anticipate much success both in the breeding shed and show ring.
